Rockstar” Kuami Eugene has announced that his new family is EMPIRE Distribution, Records and Publishing Inc., just two days short after causing speculations that he was leaving Lynx Entertainment.
The “Open Gate” hitmaker, shared via a tweet that he’s officially a member of the Empire family.
“My new family, Empire,” he tweeted Wednesday, October 19.
EMPIRE Is An American Distribution Company And Record Labelfounded In By Ghazi Shami With Offices In New York City, London, Nashville, And Atlanta. EMPIRE became famous for their work with artists such as XXXTentacion, T-Pain, Kendrick Lamar, and Cardi B. And they are spending and spreading massive resources on African musicians expecting proportional returns. Building on the success of Nigerian artists like Fireboy DML and Olamide, EMPIRE recently announced the launch of EMPIRE Africa.
The Accra-based highlife singer will be represented by EMPIRE worldwide, and all of his subsequent songs will be released through the label. Until now, Kuami Eugene has released his music via Ghanaian-owned Lynx Entertainment, where he shared the label with debonair crooner KiDi, singer Adina, Boi Jake, and others.
Kuami Eugene will now join the likes of Black Sherif and Kidi for music distribution at Empire.

On Monday, October 17, the “Take Away” hitmaker in a post on Instagram shared that the end of a particular season in his life has come.
“This is how it ends. I played my part,” he wrote on Instagram.
His post insinuated an exit from his label of five years, Lynx Entertainment run by the famous Richie Mensah.
